Something more to make the Jio users happy. Recently TRAI announced that Reliance Jio is the fastest network in India. The Jionet Speed in India has been found to be clocking up to 18.5mbps in March. Over the last few months, Jio has improved it’s network and connection speeds considerably and now lead by a very visible margin among other cellular brands.
We heard of news that Reliance Jio is going to end soon. Nobody still knows when it can happen. However, rumors are it can end around December. We all love Jionet, not because it’s good, but because it’s free (Indians always love free and discounts). You may still be wondering Why my Jionet is still running free, ain’t you?
During its inception days, Jio had many undeniable problems and their shaky call drop rates didn’t sweeten the situation. They have been previously criticized in the past for horrendous customer care as well. While Jionet speed was itching to many customers, they seemed to have left it behind and are gearing up for domination in India. Jio also topped the charts in February with 16.5 Mbps speeds.
On the other hand, their biggest competitor Bharati Airtel just managed to decrease their speeds by 1mbps!! They clocked 7.57mbps in the month of February and only 6.57mbps in March. 3rd and rising on the list is Vodafone India who piped Idea cellular with speeds of 6.14mbps.
Idea cellular had a drastic drop in speeds in the month of March. Their speeds dropped by 3Mbps in the month of March and were 5.9 Mbps in April.
After Idea, Aircel is in the list. Dropping from fourth to fifth place, Aircel’s download speed at present is 2.01 Mbps. Following Aircel is the Indian network BSNL that offers download speed of around 1.99mbps as per TRAI’s latest report. But Jionet Speed has beaten them all.
