Playing games and listening to music needs some alone time, so lets get your mobile Bluetooth headphones plugged in. But how to connect Bluetooth headset to PC without Bluetooth?
Connecting Bluetooth Headphones to PC
Step 1. Install the Bluetooth adapter
You can turn on Bluetooth on Windows just by plugging the adapter into your USB jack and installing the necessary drivers.
Step 2. Turn your adapter on and ready for pairing
After connecting your adapter to PC. To turn on Bluetooth on Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows 10 navigate to devices and printers and search for your Bluetooth adapter. Click on properties and make sure you allow devices to connect to the computer.
Step 3. Set your Bluetooth headphones into discovery mode and search for them using PC
Go to your PC and open the Bluetooth software and search for a device.
Step 4. After your Bluetooth headphones are discovered it’s time to pair it
Most headsets come with 0000 as their code. Once paired allow the computer to install updates.
Step 5. Set your headset to stereo mode
Open up Bluetooth devices by right-clicking the system tray icon. Right-click your headset and select properties. Navigate over to the services tab and allow it to load the services. Check Audio sink and headset. Un-check “Hands-free Telephony”. Click Apply/OK and allow the computer to install more drivers.
Step 6. Select the headset
In the “control panel” select “hardware and sound” and then “Sound”. You will see Bluetooth or Stereo Audio under playback tab. Right-click on the device and set it as default. Make sure no sound is being played when setting the headset. Restart your headset if it isn’t responding properly.
Step 7: Testing
Try listening to some music on a media player to test sound. If you hear music, you are all set and good to go!!!!
